Only five days till the twelve days before Christmas arrive. Remember when we were kids we would ask mom, "how many more sleeps before Santa comes?"
Today, I have to brave the cold, crowds, and slippery roads to make my way to the mall to buy a few gifts. Next weekend, I plan on buying last minute things for Christmas dinner and the holidays.
Next Friday, (December 14), is my last day of work for this year. I am taking a Christmas vacation for the first time in a very long time. On January 2, 2008 when I go back to work, I will be working in a different program area. I will say more about that in the New Year.
